Ben Marris

Ben Marris leads the AltusQ practice in Auckland.  Ben has a wealth of experience working with boards, partnerships and senior management teams to help get teams aligned and moving together in the same direction.  His focus has specifically addressed strategy and cultural change and what it takes to alter behaviours during times of change.

Specialist area
Ben focuses on providing internal mentoring programs | team development & alignment programs | strategy and business culture retreats | executive coaching and internal coaching programs to large organisations in the Business, Government and Professional Services Sectors.

As well as this Ben presents workshops to industry groups nationally.

Ben is strong believer that mentoring and coaching by leaders within an organisation is one of the most effective ways to develop tomorrow’s leaders and an engaged work force.

Previous experience
Prior to working in AltusQ Ben has run his own companies as well as working for ASB Bank, Auckland Rugby Union and for a law firm in London.

Qualifications
Ben has completed AltusQ’s extensive training and has a Law Degree and a Business Degree from the University of Otago

Ben is married to Rachael and has two children. He lives in Auckland and enjoys surf lifesaving, diving, spear fishing, snow skiing and his kids’ sports.
